Enough of that

Whew, sorry. I almost feel like I need to tell some sort of bad joke to clear the air after that post. Can you tell I'm a bit on the cranky side of late? I never knew it was possible to be very happy, and yet oh so cranky.

There is absolutely nothing of interest here. I'm obsessed with Indian food--could a certain someone be expressing previous life preferences? Fortunately, the man is currently fascinated by learning to cook Indian food, which saves me from months of unrequited longing, as the Indian restaurants in town are profoundly mediocre, at best.

Longing again for a farm, and to live out in the country. We recently discovered a place that sounds awesome, but alas, again, the timing's not right. Someday, though...

Mmm, Indian food. There are some really great recipes in "The Vegetarian Epicure" if you have that cookbook - grinding all your own spices and doing it up right makes such a huge difference. The other thing I love to make is pakoras - they are so absurdly easy to make - basically the chickpea flour and water, with veggies and seasoning and salt, and maybe a pinch of baking powder. Hmm. Might have to hit our amazing new Punjabi buffet for lunch...

Request pictures of farm. I, too (as I frequently note) have found "my house," I just probably won't get to have it. I curse the (possibly?) recovering economy that may take away my interest rates before I get to lock them in. Sigh.

Oh yes. The whole timing issue. If you are looking to buy it's a good time but if you have to sell first, not so much.
