Rising Expectations

Alas, I can't just be happy anymore that my period arrives totally without warning and spotting. Isn't that sad?

So it's here, and to keep things interesting--heaven forfend I should have a month or two without some major event, death, crisis, scare--I have a terribly swollen bunch of lymph glands in my groin. Very fun. Sorry if that's TMI. I'm going to the doctor on Wednesday. I don't think they can do anything about it and fortunately I know what it happened, but it will comfort me to know I had it checked out.

So it's mope-in-bed day for me. I should be working on my dis, but I have zero energy and feel like limp rag.

Eesh. Suck. I'm sorry you're all limp-raggy right now. No fun at all.

Take good care of yourself, Shinejil. I hope you feel better soon.

That sounds most unpleasant, dear. I hope the swelling abates and your limp-dishrag-self gets some energy to get up and dance. Good idea to check it out, though.

Ice cream and wine may help. :)

Feel better.

i'm right there with you. with the new antibiotics that are kicking my butt i'm exhausted and i feel like i've been slothing around all day.

i'm numb every time AF shows up. no sadness, nothing. i think i've gotten used to being barren.

how sad is that?

sorry you have to deal with added medical issues. it's always something I guess.

thanks so much for your kind comment before!

I hope you get enough energy to finish your dissertation (I'm assuming that's what "dis" meant..), I'm also feeling sluggish, but that's probably due to the hot weather.

Good luck at the doctor, I hope they can get you all squared away with the swollen nodes. :)

oH sweetie, I'm so sorry. Please take care and be just as mopey as you need to be. A good day on the couch hiding from the world can be the best medicine. And I hope your groin-issue is not serious. Why can't you just have a nice, uneventful summer? I'm frustrated for you.
