I admire Mrs. X (and actually, all of you). Mrs. X did not speculate on her symptoms at all, really, during her most recent excruciating 2WW. At the risk of sounding like a creepy internet buddy, that's classy.
I am trying to resist the urge. I don't really think I'm pregnant, but I'm curious to keep a record and see if other gals had a similar experience with C. TMI, etc.
My nipples feel like electrified bullets. My midsection is all bloaty and I'm having the odd cramp here and there.
And I finally understand why women gain weight on fertility drugs. I've been eating like it's going out of style. Like the hippy co-op is giving away maple yogurt. Like I'm 6'7". None of this is what normally goes on after ovulation, but I'm so used to being thrown new and exciting sensations that I'm determined not to over-interpret.
The good news is... so far no spotting. I think I have massive amounts of progesterone circulating, giving me funky luteal feelings. How did you feel post-O on Clomid?

Aww. I have a creepy internet buddy! Don't worry, you can be my creepy internet buddy anytime. :)
I wasn't always classy - there were many a time that I thought, oh! sore boobs! I'm pregnant. But, I learned the very hard way what in reality you just can't tell even when you've been pregnant before. So, there's no point in trying to figure it out.
Having said that, I had an inkling which I didn't share with anyone except the shower, on the Saturday before my Wed beta. I was getting woozy standing up and I got really tired walking around with Sweetie. I had felt both of those when I was pregnant.
But still, I didn't allow myself to think that I was pregnant because I had been there, done that and got totally smacked for my trouble.
As you have told me so eloquently, DISTRACTION is the name of the game. The first medicated 2ww is the hardest. I was certain I was pregnant and man did it suck when I found out I wasn't. But, you learn about your body and how it reacts to different drugs (mine said progesterone bad). You also learn that in the end you don't know squat.
Now I feel like some drunk uncle at a party giving the nephews bad advice. Plastics! The future is in plastics!
Very, very sound advice. More proof, Mrs. X, that you are indeed a class act.
