I'm covered in welts and boils, something like what you'd see on an extra in an action-packed, cast of thousands-type film about the Black Death.
Okay, it's not that bad, but I do look pretty scary. It's the mold's fault. I have a terrible allergy to mold and I appear to have touched something moldish in the past few days.
So if I'm quiet, it's because I'm waiting for my eyes to open from their swollen state.
I know, charming, right?

Good luck with getting your book published! I just mailed out my very first magazine submission (to Better Homes and Gardens) ...haven't gotten a rejection yet.
Eesh. Sucky. I have a pretty righteous mold sensitivity as well, but mine's all respiratory. I've never had the welts, etc. Damn, that sucks.
On Saturday, H brought up a box of glasses (a not-yet-needed wedding gift) that had been sitting in a damp corner of our basement, and the box was all moldy, and I freaked! I don't think he even knows exactly why I was freaking, I just kept saying, "Bleach! Bleach! Put the box outside!"
Oh, well. I've had a heartier than usual sinus reaction in the last few days, but I dose myself with claritin everyday, so I've really only noticed it in the morning before the pill kicks in.
I guess what I'm saying is that I've sort of been there, but in a much less severe way, and that I feel for you knowing that I'd lose it if I had a reaction any more severe than what I had. So sorry.
Nooo! I'm sorry you are moldy. If you were a fine moldy cheese, which cheese would you choose to be?
