I know this looks like your latest word verification gobbledygook, but it's the Mongol.ian name of a bodhisattva. I bought a painting of this bodhisattva, who seems to have no internet presence, at our annual Mongolian lunar new year's celebration, which this year involved an art opening by a young female artist from Mongolia.
As for the bodhisattva, she's white (helpful for identifying your various Tibetan Buddhist peeps), holding two babies in her lap, who are in turn playing with chandamanis (or chintamanis or however you spell it), the wishing jewels. I just looked at it and was so drawn to it, I immediately plopped down my credit card. I don't do that much (though I'm a sucker for art when I can afford it).
It seemed like the very embodiment of my positive thinking campaign, an image I can turn to remember what I have, be grateful for it, and attempt to cultivate some peace while waiting another week for the Ultrasound of Truth.

OK, having been gone from the blog world and having come back to find you in a knocked upstate, I just screamed "fuck yeah" and threw my fist in the air.
Luckily my boss is over at the statehouse.
So if you were thinking some positive vibes from the north might help your positive thinking, just know that I am sending some some massive brain waves all of them giggling and screaming happily.
I like it! I need it!! I will try hard too to focus on staying positive. I will keep everything crossed for your ultrasound!!
Sounds just beautiful, Shinejil. I'd love to see a photo of the painting. It definitely sounds like the perfect image for you right now. May you be flooded with peace as you wait for your Scan of Destiny.
she sounds wonderful! and a great reminder of staying postive
Sounds lovely. I love that your positive thinking campaign is going so well. Know that I'm thinking positive things for you as well!
Sounds like a great piece of art.
any way that leads you to positive thinking is good!
You could post a picture of your painting. . .
Just saying.
I am glad the positive thinking is still going on.
Can you show us a picture?
Hope you enjoy it! Best wishes with the ominous-sounding Ultrasound of Truth.
That sounds very cool! I've never heard of a bodhisattva... any chance you can upload a picture?
Ilove it; it seems a perfect talisman for you now!
